Man detained in Khanty-Mansi for alleged sexual assault of teen

A court in Nyagan has taken into custody a 58-year-old resident accused of crimes against the sexual integrity of a teenage girl. He is also charged with using force against a law enforcement officer.

The Nyagan City Court has taken into custody a 58-year-old resident of the Oktyabrsky District, who is accused of crimes against the sexual integrity of a teenage girl. This was reported by the press service of the courts of Yugra (the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug).

According to the investigation, the resident of the Talinka settlement committed sexual acts against a girl born in 2009, using force in the process. In addition, he is also accused of violence against a government representative.

“The man has been charged with two crimes, one of which is a particularly serious crime against the sexual integrity of a minor, for which the only punishment is imprisonment for a term of eight to fifteen years,” the statement said.

Previously, we wrote that in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, authorities solved the brutal murder of a schoolgirl committed 15 years ago. The body of the 12-year-old girl was found at the bottom of a drainage collector.
