Lawyers for Sergei Turkov, the owner of a collapsed shopping center in Novosibirsk, are appealing his arrest, after he was sent to pre-trial detention until March 22.

In Novosibirsk, the defense has appealed the arrest of Sergei Turkov, the owner of the collapsed shopping center in the Pervomaisky District. This was reported by the press service of courts of general jurisdiction.
Sergei Turkov«s defenders on January 26 and 27 filed appeals against the rulings on pre-trial restrictions to the Pervomaisky District Court.
After fulfilling the requirements of criminal procedural legislation, the appeals will be sent for consideration to the Novosibirsk Regional Court.
Sergei Turkov was sent to pre-trial detention until March 22. NGS journalists attended the arrest and heard the positions of investigators, lawyers, and the accused himself.
