According to the agency, back in spring 2024, a complaint was filed with the city police«s economic security department against the head of the construction company »SK Region«.

According to data from the «Kontur.Fokus» service, the company «SK Region» is engaged in building construction. The head is Kuliev Mekhti Kamal Ogly; the firm was founded in 2021, but in November 2025 it was removed from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL).

Based on enforcement proceedings, the company is expected to recover about 13 million rubles (approximately $130,000 at current rates). At the end of 2024, the company«s balance was 70.2 million rubles (approximately $702,000), revenue was 2.3 million rubles (approximately $23,000), and net profit was one thousand rubles (approximately $10).

The two police officers who were conducting the investigation conspired with him. According to a source from NGS24.RU, the operatives« names are Dmitry Gartvikh and Denis Grigorenko. They informed him of the complaint and began cooperating with the company head, who himself started writing confessions.

Afterwards, they prematurely informed the businessman that a criminal case would be initiated against him and searches would be conducted, «depriving the investigation of the element of surprise». They provided an incomplete criminal case file — hiding part of the businessman«s assets.

For this, one of the operatives received a bribe of $300, which the construction company head handed over while shaking hands, saying: «This is for you, for cigarettes and beer».

But this amount was only an advance; later, for further assistance, the construction company head planned to pay the operatives one million rubles (approximately $10,000 at current rates). During the deal on a wasteland, the suspects were detained by FSB officers.

As a result, the Central District Court found the ex-police officers guilty of taking bribes and sentenced them to deprivation of liberty for a term of eight to nine years. They will serve their sentence in a strict-regime colony.

In addition, the court fined each former operative two million rubles (approximately $20,000) and confiscated the equivalent of the bribe received — 13 thousand rubles (approximately $130) from each.

Earlier, NGS24.RU reported that former deputy transport minister of Krasnoyarsk Krai Alexandra Mordanya was detained on suspicion of taking a bribe on an especially large scale.
