In the Urals, a father beats his own son to death; the boy was two months old
Investigators displayed a photograph of the accused man in the case.
In Novouralsk, a man killed his two-month-old son. The reason was that the infant was crying.
The tragedy occurred on the night of 22 October 2025 in an apartment on Pervomayskaya Street. As investigators put it, «the accused, out of personal dislike for his two-month-old son, who was crying and behaving restlessly, decided to kill him».
The man struck the child several times with his hand. The blows also landed on the head. Unfortunately, the baby suffered a traumatic brain injury, which became the cause of his death.
«During the investigation, a set of measures was carried out to establish all the circumstances of the crime, and to collect and secure the evidence. As a result of the investigation, which was conducted in the shortest possible time, the criminal case has been sent to court for consideration on the merits,» reported the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Sverdlovsk Region.
This is not the only such case. Recently in Yekaterinburg, a father who brutally beat an infant was arrested. The child with severe injuries was hospitalized.
