British Prince Andrew is once again in the spotlight over the same criminal case involving Jeffrey Epstein. This time, Prime Minister Keir Starmer has added fuel to the fire by calling for the king«s brother to testify in court. All the known details about the high-profile sex scandal have been compiled in this article.

Prime Minister Attacks

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that King Charles III«s brother, the disgraced Prince Andrew, is obliged to testify before the U.S. Congress regarding the case of American financier Jeffrey Epstein. This was reported by Sky News citing the prime minister»s statement.

«On the matter of giving testimony, I have always said that anyone with information should be prepared to share that information in whatever form they are asked to do so,» said Starmer.

The prime minister noted that victims should be the priority. He also added that the question of offering apologies remains open for Prince Andrew himself.

The Epstein Criminal Case

The sex scandal involving American financier Jeffrey Epstein began back in 2005. The financier was convicted for having sex with a 14-year-old girl and trafficking minors. He was arrested in 2006 for 13 months. By that time, law enforcement had established that 36 underage girls had suffered at his hands.

In October 2017, media resumed examination of the Epstein case. This led to a new investigation and the seizure of his Manhattan mansion. There, law enforcement also discovered thousands of photographs of nude underage girls.

The financier was arrested again in July 2019, and in August of the same year, Epstein committed suicide in prison.

In January 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice released new data on this high-profile case. The documents mention U.S. President Donald Trump, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, American entrepreneur Bill Gates, billionaire Elon Musk, and other influential figures.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to deny any information about contacts related to Epstein. He notes that they had a bad relationship and, moreover, he was never on the infamous island associated with this financier.

Accusations Against Prince Andrew

Andrew has been accused of friendship with the scandalous financier Jeffrey Epstein and of associations with underage girls.

In 2011, Andrew lost his position as the UK«s trade representative after reports of his contacts with Epstein. In 2019, he stepped back from all public duties, and in 2022—amid accusations of sexual harassment—he was stripped of his military titles and royal privileges. That same year, he settled a lawsuit from activist Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of abuse committed during her teenage years.

On October 30, 2025, Buckingham Palace issued an official statement stating that Andrew is being stripped of his titles, he no longer has the right to be addressed as His Royal Highness, and furthermore, he must leave the Royal Lodge estate in Windsor.
