The Otus team, which specializes in filming tornadoes with drones, published a magical video. In it, the vortex spins not over land, but over a lake, resembling a huge open portal to another world. According to the researchers, they captured this natural phenomenon in Canada near the village of Tulliby Lake. The team had to put in a lot of effort. They drove 18 hours by car and stayed overnight nearby to get the best shots.

It is impossible to see such beauty from the ground because the double rainbow appears due to the abundance of droplets in the tornado funnel that refract light. Even though the researchers have been filming tornadoes for years and post all videos in their blog, their subscribers still find it hard to believe that such beauty is not the work of artificial intelligence.
