It has become known where the farewell for actor Dmitry Marfin will take place. The Tolyatti native died suddenly in Moscow, where he had been living and working recently.

«The farewell for director and actor Dmitry Marfin will be held on January 26 at the »Dilizhans« Theater. The address is Stepan Razin Avenue, 93. It begins at 12:00,» the Tolyatti theater announced.

The day before, a funeral service for Dmitry Marfin will be held. The service will take place on January 25, 2026, at 12:00 at the Church of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. The church is located in the Komsomolsky District of Tolyatti on Lizy Chaykina Street, 30.

The well-known Tolyatti actor and director passed away on January 18. According to acquaintances, the cause of death was a blood clot that suddenly detached. Dmitry was waiting for a bus at a public transport stop at the time. He was 47 years old.

Dmitry Marfin was a talented actor, producer, director, and educator. He began his acting career in 1995 at the «Dilizhans» Theater and collaborated with the theater at various times as an actor, director, and project author.

Since 2013, he has been staging musicals with talented children at various venues in Tolyatti: at the Tolyatti Philharmonic, the Palace of Culture, Art, and Creativity (now the Avtograd Cultural Center), and others. Among the productions: «Tom Sawyer,» «The Bremen Town Musicians,» «Pippi Longstocking,» «New Adventures of Elektronik,» «Vovka in the Jazz Kingdom.»

In St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other cities, Dmitry taught theatrical, vocal, and variety art. He worked as a teacher in the acting track at the Family Educational Forum of Leonid Agutin.
