Sasha Belair Opens Up About Second Home Birth

Prominent blogger Alexandra Belyakova from Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Oblast, known by the pseudonym Sasha Belair, gave birth to her second son. She shared this news with her followers on December 5.

According to the social media star, she had a home birth in America.

Later, Alexandra recorded a video in which she described the process in more detail.

«I woke up, had some mild contractions. Thought they weren«t real. Took a shower, did my skincare routine, put on patches. Checked my weight — I gained exactly 15 kilograms (33 lbs) during the pregnancy. Then another slight contraction, I immediately texted my doula to come just in case, so I wouldn»t be alone. Then breakfast. Didn«t have much appetite, so ice cream with tea. Did a beauty meditation, which I recorded two days before the birth, it turned out very feminine. The doula arrived, and we still couldn»t tell if I was in labor or not. We chatted, and sometimes there were contractions. Around five after sunset, we realized I was definitely in labor, and I felt like going into the closet. I sat there for a whole hour, at six the midwife arrived, we filled the tub, at seven I decided to go to the bathroom and quickly gave birth there. The baby was immediately placed on my body, we went to bed, called the whole family. Nick (the name of Alexandra«s eldest son has been changed, — Ed.»s note) immediately gave his little brother a balloon. Then we cut the umbilical cord, took the necessary measurements, took some photos, and went to sleep. That«s how my dream birth turned out,» the blogger recounted.

Scandal Involving First Child

Sasha Belair and her husband — businessman Sergei Kosenko — have an elder son. After his birth, in early 2024, a scandal erupted online. It was sparked by a video in which Sergei Kosenko throws an infant into the snow. The clip provoked a furious reaction from users. It was condemned not only in the comments — Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Investigative Committee, ordered a criminal case to be opened.

After the story caused widespread public outcry, Sergei hurried to explain that the footage used editing and artificial intelligence technologies.

Later, in October 2025, an interview with TV host Viktoria Bonya was released on Sergei Kosenko«s channel. During the filming, she asked the blogger: «Will you throw your second newborn child into the sea with sharks, like you did the first one in the snow?»

Kosenko answered the provocative question in detail. While he had previously claimed that the video of throwing an infant into a snowdrift was edited, here he frankly admitted to wanting to generate hype.

«I was 36 at the time. I incredibly loved popular videos. I saw a clip online with 5 million likes, where a girl picks up a child and tosses him into a snowdrift. And he lands so beautifully. I thought: «God, this is an incredibly cute video that definitely needs to appear in my feed too.» If I saw some blogger posting similar videos now, I«d say he»s an idiot,» Kosenko said.
