Epstein Files: Krasnoyarsk Connections and Vissarion Reference

In January 2026, U.S. authorities published thousands of documents from the case of Jeffrey Epstein — a billionaire and convicted sex offender who died by suicide in prison in 2019. The editorial team of NGS24.RU examined files mentioning Krasnoyarsk and found correspondence involving a native of our city.

And Who Is This Epstein Anyway?

Jeffrey Epstein was an American financier twice accused of sex crimes against minors. In 2008, he received a lenient sentence through a plea deal, and in 2019 he was arrested again — and found dead in his cell a month later. Despite the official version of suicide, the circumstances of his death still raise questions.

After the case was closed, part of the documents were declassified. Thousands of emails, records, and internal files became publicly available. We checked them using a simple keyword: «Krasnoyarsk».

Irina from Krasnoyarsk

Most mentions of Krasnoyarsk are related to a woman signed in Epstein«s files as Irina. In an email from 9 December 2009, she wrote herself:

«I am filming a story for one of the TV channels in Krasnoyarsk — the city I come from.»

Judging by the correspondence, at that time she lived between New York and London. In the same email, Irina told Epstein about her friend who «knows many girls but doesn»t know how to approach the topic.« The friend suggested organizing dinners for 3–4 girls — »to get to know each other better.« Irina added that she is thinking about this idea to make it »truly productive.«

Epstein replied within half an hour — and sent two emails at once. In the first, he offered to send a car for her when she comes to Florida for Christmas. In the second, he wrote: «I will give you money for your dinners.»

Irina replied that same evening: «Great, can»t wait to meet! I«ll try to organize a dinner this week, I think it should work out.»

Correspondence with Irina from Krasnoyarsk is clearly traceable from 2009 to 2011 — possibly longer: in later files, similar names appear, but a precise connection cannot be established yet.
In October 2017, another correspondence is found in which Irina appears. In a dialogue with Epstein, a certain woman (name redacted) asks Epstein when she will receive the money promised since September. She says that earlier L promised to transfer 100, but transferred only 28. In response, Epstein said that the woman would receive all the money within the week.
More About Irina
The editorial team of NGS24.RU has established with a certain degree of reliability that Irina from the 2009 correspondence is Irina Ch., a native of Krasnoyarsk.
According to open sources, she lived for a long time between two countries — Russia and the USA. Her social media has photos from Krasnoyarsk, including from the ski resort «Bobrovy Log» (March 2013). The first posts on Instagram (an extremist organization, banned in the Russian Federation) date back to the end of 2012 — then she published photos from travels and yoga books. In 2014, many pictures with a small child appeared in her feed.
Her Instagram (an extremist organization, banned in the Russian Federation) does not look like the profile of someone who once recruited girls for an American billionaire. Photos from airplanes, happy motherhood, a healthy lifestyle. Since 2017, many pictures of healthy food appeared in the feed — Irina began developing in the wellness sphere. In 2021–2022, the topic of proper nutrition became the main one.
Since 2023, the nature of publications changed: photos of the child disappeared, and the feed filled with staged shots in the style of fitness bloggers. The last post is dated 2024, but she is still active in stories.
Now Irina Ch. lives in the USA and is publicly active in the wellness sphere — teaching yoga and consulting on nutrition. We sent her a request for comment, but at the time of publication, no response was received.
18-Year-Old Model
Krasnoyarsk is mentioned in another letter — from 1 June 2018, a year before Epstein«s arrest. An unknown sender (name redacted) writes:
«I really like [name] from Krasnoyarsk. She is very easy to contact. Good English for 18 years. I can invite her for 2 days to Moscow — to see how she really looks.»
The author of the letter also mentions their cover in Cosmopolitan magazine — probably, it«s someone from the modeling industry. Notably, the email client of the unknown author is set to Russian — in the field of the date of receiving Epstein»s message, Russian letters are visible. Similar «Russian traces» are constantly found in various documents from the section of Epstein«s files on the U.S. Department of Justice website.
Vissarion in FBI Briefings
In the archive, news digests were found that were sent to FBI leadership. In the briefing from 23 September 2020 — a summary of a Reuters note about the detention in Krasnoyarsk Krai of Sergei Torop, better known as Vissarion. The very founder of the «Church of the Last Testament», who gathered a community in the taiga near Minusinsk.
This has no relation to Epstein (although Vissarion«s followers were accused by detractors of organizing orgies) — simply the briefing ended up in the archive along with other documents. But the fact itself is interesting: the story of the sectarians from the City of the Sun reached the morning mail of American special services.
What This Means
Krasnoyarsk is far from the main city in Epstein«s files. The word »Krasnoyarsk« appears in documents only 15 times, while »Moscow« — 9379 times. The archive mentions cities from Rostov to Vladivostok.
But for us, something else is important: a native of Krasnoyarsk for at least two years coordinated meetings with girls for Epstein — set times, arranged visits, received money for it. The documents do not allow establishing who these girls were and what happened at the meetings. Part of the names is redacted, the context is not always clear.
Whether Irina Ch. bears any responsibility for what happened — is a question we have no answer to. In the correspondence, Irina appears as an intermediary. What she knew about Epstein«s activities and whether she understood what she was participating in — we do not know. Irina Ch. has not yet answered our questions.
