In documents related to the investigation into financier Jeffrey Epstein«s case, who is accused of human trafficking in the US and forcing into prostitution, a Chelyabinsk link has been found. In the published »Epstein Library,« there are at least ten letters that mention Chelyabinsk.

The profile with millions of documents, images, and photos was published by the US Department of Justice. Letters mentioning Chelyabinsk were sent from 2010 to 2015.

Among the addressees in the city are men and women. It can be assumed that the man played the role of a «goods» supplier— in one of the letters, it talks about a girl who was brought to Jeffrey Epstein from Ozersk.

The Epstein Case

Jeffrey Epstein, a well-known American financier, found himself at the center of a scandal back in 2005. He was accused of committing sexual crimes and trafficking minors.

At that time, investigators established that the financier lured young girls to his home, where he allegedly raped them. During searches of his home, thousands of photographs depicting nude underage girls were found, as well as hidden cameras.

According to media reports, Epstein used video materials with victims for blackmail. There is a belief that the financier and his accomplices maintained a young woman who was sent to various influential people for erotic massage and sexual services.

Epstein was arrested in 2006. He spent 13 months in custody. According to the investigation, at that time, 36 underage girls were victims of his actions.

In June 2008, the financier admitted to forcing a young girl, who was under 16 years old, into prostitution. For this, he was sentenced to 18 months of prison time. But Epstein served his sentence in the form of isolated confinement in a private section of the prison in Palm Beach County.

New media attention was drawn to the financier«s case in the fall of 2017 and caused another wave of investigative actions. Particularly loud was the discovery in his Manhattan mansion of thousands of photographs of nude minors. Among the findings were video recordings indicating the use of these materials for blackmail.

In July 2019, a new arrest followed, and in August of the same year, Epstein was found dead in his prison cell. According to official data, he committed suicide.
