Residents of Altai Krai are not wasting time and are already actively planning their future vacation in 2026. To find out where Altai tourists are heading and how much it might cost, NGS22.RU consulted leading tour operators and analyzed the structure of bookings made in February.
Where can you go from Barnaul?
In one travel agency in Barnaul, they noted that for Valentine«s Day, short but vibrant trips around Russia are especially popular. This is no surprise, as such a gift not only leaves a lasting memory but also does not hit the budget too hard.
Kazan and St. Petersburg lead the list of most popular destinations. This is quite understandable: they offer a rich cultural program, beautiful scenery, and many romantic spots.
For example, a three-day trip to Kazan costs only 32,000 RUB (about $356) for two, and nine nights — 47,000 RUB ($522). St. Petersburg from February 11 to 14 can be visited from 45,000 RUB ($500) for two.
If you can«t stop thinking about the mountains, then destinations like Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana are an excellent choice. Six nights in Sochi cost 54,000 RUB ($600), and a vacation in Krasnaya Polyana starts from 88,000 RUB ($978). Here you can enjoy ski slopes, stroll along the promenade, or simply relax in a cozy hotel.
For those seeking exoticism and wanting to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of southern hospitality, Abkhazia would be an ideal option. Six nights in Gagra cost 93,000 RUB ($1,000). Here await picturesque landscapes, delicious cuisine, and the opportunity to spend time away from the city hustle.
Where can you fly from Novosibirsk?
Despite the rise in prices for foreign trips this year, residents of Altai Krai have not lost their passion for travel. Travel agencies note stable demand and are ready to offer vacation options, especially with convenient direct flights from Novosibirsk.
For sun and sea, you can go to Vietnam. Among the available destinations, this country attracts tourists with the best swimming weather. A week-long trip for two costs approximately 154,000 RUB ($1,700).
Goa is also popular, offering similar conditions for beach holidays. The cost of seven nights for two is about 168,000 RUB ($1,900).
An alternative for those willing to compromise — Turkey. In February, the country cannot boast hot weather, but it is ideal for lovers of excursions and comfortable holidays in five-star hotels. A week-long tour for two costs around 105,000 RUB ($1,200).
Another option — UAE (Dubai), which offers short but packed trips. Four nights in Dubai for two cost about 105,000 RUB ($1,200). Hainan Island is also more focused on sightseeing programs with visits to parks and museums. A three-day trip for two costs approximately 110,000 RUB ($1,200).
Thailand is currently not offered due to high demand and limited hotel selection because of the Chinese New Year celebrations in February. Available options either do not meet expectations or significantly exceed the budget.
