Weather warning for Omsk: strong wind, snow, and rain

In the coming days, a sharp deterioration in weather conditions is expected in Omsk Oblast. According to forecasts from the Ob-Irtysh Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, during the day on Thursday, February 5, and at night on Friday, February 6, the region will be covered with snow and rain, a blizzard, and strong winds with gusts from 13 meters per second to 18 meters per second. On the roads, snowdrifts and icy patches are possible, and visibility will significantly worsen.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for Omsk Oblast urges residents to be extremely vigilant and cautious: they need to monitor weather conditions, adhere to speed limits, avoid sudden maneuvers, and not overload electrical networks and stoves.
