Weather Forecast Predicts End of Cold Spell in Tyumen

Abnormally cold weather in the Tyumen region will soon end. The Russian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a forecast for the near future.

Thus, according to meteorologists, it will still be quite cold on Saturday and Sunday. On January 24 during the day, -32°C (-26°F) is expected. Because of this, in the morning the city administration canceled classes for schoolchildren in the first shift — from first to ninth grade. On the night of January 25, it will still be cold in Tyumen — down to -30°C (-22°F).

On January 25 during the day, meteorologists expect up to -23°C (-9°F). At this point, as specialists promise, the cold spell will end, and it will gradually start to warm up.

«A dangerous phenomenon is expected in the region — abnormally cold weather. The warning period is until 20:00 on January 25. Frost deposition will also be recorded. This warning is valid until 11:00 on January 24,» specialists said.

Although on the night before the first working day it will still be quite cold, down to -30°C (-22°F). During the day, the cold will weaken, meteorologists predict air temperatures outside up to -20°C (-4°F). By mid-week, it will become very warm — thermometers will show -10°C (14°F) during the day on Wednesday, and by Friday during daylight hours, up to -3°C (27°F) is expected.
