In Bashkiria, after prolonged and severe frosts, it will finally warm up. Forecasters say that nighttime temperatures will remain around -20 degrees Celsius (-4°F), but daytime ones will already be pleasing. We provide the forecast for today, January 29.

According to Bashgidromet (the Bashkir Hydrometeorological Service), light snow will pass in some parts of the region, in northern areas it will be moderate, and in some areas, a low-level blizzard is expected — this is when the wind sweeps away already settled snow, not new snow (as in a regular blizzard).

After nighttime temperatures of -11 to -21 degrees Celsius (12 to -6°F), daytime temperatures are expected from -5 to -10 degrees Celsius (23 to 14°F). At the same time, wind strengthening up to 18 m/s is forecast. Visibility may worsen.

As reported by Yandex.Weather, in Ufa after sunrise, the temperature will rise to -10 degrees Celsius (14°F) by lunchtime, and to -8 degrees Celsius (18°F) by evening. Closer to night, it is reported as -7 degrees Celsius (19°F). No precipitation is expected.

In Sterlitamak, it will be slightly warmer: from the morning already -8 degrees Celsius (18°F), by lunchtime — an increase to -6 degrees Celsius (21°F). In the evening and closer to night — to -5 to -6 degrees Celsius (23 to 21°F).
