Meteorologists are predicting a new drop in temperature in the region. The cold snap is linked to the movement of the Scandinavian anticyclone«s core towards the Northern Urals.

«The influence of the Scandinavian anticyclone is becoming more pronounced, its core is shifting eastwards, towards the Northern Urals, providing cooling in the northern areas of the oblast. On Sunday, the cooling will spread across the entire region. The front in the presence of the anticyclone will dissipate, and associated precipitation will weaken,» noted Alexey Pulin, author of the Telegram channel «Weather in Yekaterinburg.»
