Temperatures to reach +1°C in Novosibirsk Region on Friday

Snowfalls are expected in the region as temperatures rise to just above freezing on Friday, according to the West Siberian Hydrometeorological Service.

The West Siberian Hydrometeorological Service (West Siberian UGMS) has forecast temperatures rising to +1 degree Celsius (34°F) in Novosibirsk Region on Friday.
On Thursday, 5 February, overnight lows in the region are expected to drop to between -17 and -22 degrees Celsius (1.4 to -7.6°F), with some areas seeing as low as -28°C (-18.4°F). Daytime temperatures will warm to between -5 and -10°C (23 to 14°F), with some areas remaining around -15°C (5°F).
On Friday, 6 February, overnight lows are forecast to be between -8 and -13°C (17.6 to 8.6°F), with some pockets as cold as -21°C (-5.8°F). Daytime highs are predicted to reach between -4 and +1°C (24.8 to 33.8°F), with some areas staying around -9°C (15.8°F).
In Novosibirsk, overnight temperatures on Friday will drop to between -13 and -15°C (8.6 to 5°F), rising by morning. Daytime temperatures will be between -1 and +1°C (30.2 to 33.8°F). No precipitation is expected overnight, but during the day there could be light, in places moderate and wet snow.
In Novosibirsk Region, February temperatures are expected to be around the norm, averaging between -13 and -16°C (8.6 to 3.2°F). Forecasters have detailed what the month will bring.
