Snowfalls to End in Bashkortostan on February 5

Snowfalls are expected in parts of Bashkortostan today, but they will subside by February 5, according to the Bashhydromet forecast for February 4-6.

Today, snowfall is expected in parts of Bashkortostan, but by tomorrow it will taper off. Here is the weather forecast from Bashhydromet (Bashkir Hydrometeorological Center) for February 4 to 6.
According to the republic«s meteorologists, air temperatures today will range from -15°C to -20°C (5°F to -4°F). In the morning, some areas may experience icy conditions, blizzards, snow drifts and packed snow; during the day — light snow, locally moderate.
But tomorrow, February 5, there will be no significant precipitation. Wind — moderate from the northwest and west. Air temperature at night — from -23°C to -28°C (-9°F to -18°F), locally down to -33°C (-27°F), in the southeast — from -15°C to -20°C (5°F to -4°F); during the day it will warm up: generally in Bashkortostan to -15°C to -20°C (5°F to -4°F), and in the southeast — to -10°C to -15°C (14°F to 5°F).
On the night from Thursday to Friday, no significant precipitation is expected either, but on the day of February 6, light snow is possible in some parts of the republic. Air temperature at night — from -20°C to -25°C (-4°F to -13°F), locally down to -30°C (-22°F), and during the day it will be between -11°C and -16°C (12°F to 3°F).
