Rostov schools extend free attendance due to snowfall

Due to yesterday«s snowfall, a transport collapse began in Rostov.
Tomorrow, February 4, free attendance will also be in effect in Rostov schools. The reason is bad weather and cold. The Rostov administration announced this in comments under a post by city head Alexander Skryabin.

Schools continue to operate in normal mode, but at the parent«s decision, a child may not attend classes. Institutions with heating problems due to a line accident are working remotely.
Due to the snowfall that occurred on February 2, a transport collapse hit Rostov, the likes of which haven«t been seen in a long time. Ten-point traffic jams lasted in the city for six hours. Rostov residents took a long time to get home on snow-covered streets, some had to walk to avoid standing in traffic. Vehicles got stuck right on the roadway, and concerned residents came out to push them. In the morning of February 3, nine-point traffic jams persisted.
