After a thaw in the Arkhangelsk region, frosty winter has returned. Overnight on January 22, the temperature dropped below -30°C (-22°F). We explain what to expect from the weather during the day.
According to the Northern Hydrometeorology Service (UGMS), the region will be cloudy with clearings. No significant precipitation, with icy and frost deposits in places. Wind from the southern quarter 3-8 m/s. Temperature -20 to -25°C (-4 to -13°F), in places down to -15°C (5°F).

Recall that in early January, residents of one of the apartment buildings in Arkhangelsk were left without hot water and heating during the frost. In their entrance, the batteries burst, and the temperature in the apartments does not rise above 12°C (54°F). Reports of cold in apartments came from different parts of the city.
