Mudflow hits road at Rosa Khutor — traffic pattern changed

At the Rosa Khutor ski resort in the Sochi mountains, a mudflow has hit the road. The passage is completely blocked, warns the resort administration. Specialists are currently on site, clearing the roadway of mudflow streams. However, they continue to flow down the slope due to heavy precipitation.

— We draw your attention: the traffic pattern has changed. Exit from Baskhaba is via the resort«s internal road. Entry for buses is from the side of the »Perekryostok« store, then in the direction of the restaurant »Vkusno — i tochka«. Please take these changes into account when planning your route, — reports the resort administration.

— Due to the formation of a landslide process and active mudflow descent on Olimpiyskaya Street in the village of Esto-Sadok, the initial and final stops of bus routes No. 105, 105s, 105e, 163, 535, 535e have been temporarily changed. Boarding and alighting of passengers is taking place at the former stop in the area of «Vkusno — i tochka», — reports the press service of the Sochi administration«s transport department.

Recall that in the Sochi mountains today, half of the monthly precipitation norm will fall, and by the end of the day, according to the forecast, there will be heaviest snowfall.
