Meteorologists Forecast Intensifying Frosts Before Central Russia Warming
Specialists from the Fobos weather center said warming in the Yaroslavl region is expected this weekend, but frosts will intensify before then.

A forecast of temperature changes and precipitation in the Yaroslavl region from February 4 to 8.

Until the end of the work week, frosts will persist in the Central region of Russia, including the Yaroslavl region. No significant snowfall is forecast during this period.
«In Central Russia, significant precipitation is still unlikely, and frosts will strengthen. In Moscow on Thursday morning it is already −25 °С (−13 °F), and during the day thermometers will not rise above −13–−15 °С (9–5 °F). Then light snow will begin, and by Saturday night it will warm up to −10 °С (14 °F),» said Fobos.

The Pogoda 76.RU service provided the following forecast:
- 4 February: night −22 °C (−8 °F), light snow; day −15 °C (5 °F), no precipitation.
- 5 February: night −16 °C (3 °F), no snow expected; day −15 °C (5 °F), clear.
- 6 February: night −19 °C (−2 °F), no precipitation; day −17 °C (1 °F), light snow possible in the evening.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia:
- 7 February: night −18 °C (0 °F), light snow; day −11 °C (12 °F), precipitation continues.
- 8 February: night −19 °C (−2 °F), cloudy, brief snow; day −11 °C (12 °F), no precipitation.
