Hot tubs suggested for Valentine's Day dates in Urals

Yekaterinburg seems to have decided to become the capital of thermal leisure. In the city and its surroundings, spa complexes are opening one after another, and glampings are installing bath tubs. The latter have gained great popularity: on one of the listing aggregators, you can find about 60 offers for tub rental and another 150 guest houses with this option. No wonder, as it«s a good way to relax and unwind in pleasant company any time of the year. And also — a non-traditional idea for a date on Valentine»s Day.

In Russia, hot leisure options have always been respected: heating up a bathhouse, steaming with a birch broom, or relaxing in a sauna. Previously, having something like this on your own property was a mark of good taste. Now, bath tubs are in fashion. In the Urals, such tubs are produced and sold by one of the market leaders — the company DADA.

Its history began 10 years ago — back then, the company was engaged in metalworking. The new business direction, manufacturing bath tubs, appeared after the pandemic. According to specialists, people reconsidered the concept of ideal leisure: instead of trips to Turkey, Egypt, and Thailand, domestic tourism took over. DADA quickly caught the trend and launched new production.

«People want to relax comfortably — and not twice a year on vacation, but every weekend, without leaving the region. Even better — without leaving their own suburban plot. Moreover, bath tubs correlate excellently with a healthy lifestyle, which more and more Urals residents are thinking about,» says DADA brand manager Ilya Silyutin.

At DADA, they are sure: the tub is an excellent alternative to a bathhouse. Especially for those who tolerate high temperatures poorly and cannot stay long in a stuffy room. In an outdoor tub, the water is kept at a comfortable level for humans of 36–38 degrees Celsius (97–100°F), and body warming occurs evenly. Bath tubs look aesthetically pleasing, warm you up in the cold, and in summer — help you relax. Essentially, it«s the same hot spring, just right at home.
«Imagine: you»re sitting in a warm tub, with snowdrifts around, snow slowly falling from the sky, and you«re not cold. It»s also great to admire the sunset from the tub on a cool Ural summer evening,« says Ilya.
With the new direction, DADA made the right move: the tubs immediately found their buyer. In just a few years of work, the company«s client base grew sharply: about 400 heated tubs were installed for local glampings and recreation bases, among the customers are many private individuals who take bath tubs for their own suburban plots.
«Our tubs can be found not only in the Urals but all over the country: from Khabarovsk to Moscow and St. Petersburg. We are confident that a heated tub will become a distinctive additional option for hotels, recreation bases, and suburban complexes. After all, it gives guests the most valuable thing — impressions,» continues Ilya Silyutin.
Today, the area of the DADA enterprise reaches 1800 square meters — a full-fledged modern workshop. Here, assembly and storage of finished tubs take place.
«We don»t engage in artisanal assembly. Metal cutting and welding are done on laser machines. In the construction, we use durable materials such as stainless steel. Even the stove in our water circuit — it doesn«t blacken or overheat,» explains Ilya.
DADA tries to keep the entire model range in stock. But even if the needed tub isn«t in the warehouse, it will be made to order in 4 days.
«We have various tubs that can comfortably accommodate from two to eight people. Form factor, color, wood species, steel grade, stove, and set of accessories — all this is left to the customer»s discretion. Now we are launching into production a two-person tub, which will become an ideal gift for the February holidays,« specifies the brand manager.
The depth of the standard tub is 1000 mm (3.3 ft), the bottom is wide, and the angle of inclination is 67°. The device of the heated tub is thought out to ensure maximum comfort for people of any height.
«Some models of tubs have a water jacket: it heats water twice as fast as from a simple stove,» comments Ilya Silyutin.
The main products of DADA will last 50 years, and throughout this period, the company provides technical support.
