Hold On: When Will Snowfall End in Krasnodar?

Krasnodar is experiencing a cold week with heavy snowfall, expected to peak on February 3, weaken by February 4, and completely stop by February 5, followed by a temporary warm-up over the weekend.

Snowy weather in Krasnodar will persist at least until the middle of the week. The peak of the bad weather will occur on February 3 — snow is expected throughout the day, in some places with rain, which may intensify by evening.

According to forecasters, on February 4, the snowfall will begin to weaken. During the day, light snow is possible, but the main precipitation should cease. Temperatures will remain below zero: during the day up to –2 °C (28°F), at night — up to –5 °C (23°F).

Snow will completely stop in Krasnodar on Thursday, February 5. Variable cloudiness with no precipitation is expected, while night temperatures may drop to –2 °C (28°F).

The cold weather won«t last long. Already by the weekend, February 7–8, forecasters predict a sharp, though temporary, warming: air temperature will rise to +9 °C (48°F), and snow will be replaced by rain.

Earlier, the Krasnodar State Traffic Inspectorate warned drivers about difficult road conditions due to snowfall and negative temperatures. On the roadway, the risk of ice formation persists.
