February has started with severe cold weather in the Arkhangelsk region, based on meteorological reports.

The new work week in the Arkhangelsk region will begin without significant precipitation. Heavy snow, according to meteorologists, will only occur locally in the southern half of the region — a blizzard is expected there.
Air temperature during the day from -13°C (9°F) to -18°C (0°F), in the northeast up to -25°C (-13°F).
According to the Northern Hydrometeorological Service (UHMS), in the Pomorye area (Arkhangelsk region) it will be cloudy with clearings. A north-eastern wind will blow at speeds of 5-10 m/s, with gusts up to 14 m/s in some areas.
Recall that February in the Arkhangelsk region began with cold weather. Temperatures over the weekend dropped to -37°C (-35°F).
