Frosts Down to -32°C Expected in Rostov Region

On Sunday, February 4, the Rostov Region will see a further intensification of frost. According to the regional Hydrometeorological Center, no snowfall is expected.
In Rostov, the weather will be cloudy with sunny spells. No significant precipitation is expected, but there may be hoarfrost in the morning. Black ice will persist on roads throughout the day. The wind will blow from the northwest and north at 4–9 meters per second.
The temperature in the city will drop: during the day, thermometers will show from -12°C to -14°C (10°F to 7°F). At night, the air will cool to -23°C to -25°C (-9°F to -13°F).
In the districts of the region, cloudy weather with clear spells is also forecast. Hoarfrost is expected in places, and black ice on highways. The wind will maintain a northwest and northerly direction at 4–9 m/s.
Daytime temperatures across the region will range from -12°C to -17°C (10°F to 1°F), and up to -8°C (18°F) in southern areas. At night, it will cool to -23°C to -18°C (-9°F to 0°F), and with clear skies, the thermometer may drop to -28°C (-18°F). In the north and east of the region, temperatures could fall to -32°C (-26°F).
