Today, February 3, the weather of the Kola Peninsula will be determined by the northern periphery of an anticyclone centered over Scandinavia. This was reported by the Murmansk Hydrometeorological Service.

Significant precipitation is not expected. Variable cloudiness, in some places frost, ice. Wind south-western weak, in the north of the region moderate. Air temperature -14… -19 °C (7 to -2 °F), in some places -23… -28 °C (-9 to -18 °F), during the day in the north -9… -14 °C (16 to 7 °F).

On February 4–5, our region will be under the influence of cyclonic activity in the Barents Sea. In some places, snow will fall, in the north of the Arctic region the wind will intensify, the temperature will rise during the day on February 4 to -10… -15 °C (14 to 5 °F), in the north to -3… -8 °C (27 to 18 °F).
