Forecasters predict weather for Omsk Oblast at week's start

The Ob-Irtysh Hydrometeorological Service forecasts relatively warm weather today, with colder temperatures expected early next week in Omsk Oblast.

According to forecasters from the Ob-Irtysh Hydrometeorological Service, today, February 1, it will be relatively warm in Omsk Oblast. Daytime temperatures will range from -7 to -12 degrees Celsius (19 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit), with up to -17 in the northern part. Light snow is expected in some areas.

Overnight into Monday, February 2, temperatures will drop to -15 to -20 degrees Celsius (5 to -4 degrees Fahrenheit), and with clear skies, down to -21 to -25. During the day, it will be slightly warmer, with forecasts of -10 to -15 degrees Celsius (14 to 5 degrees Fahrenheit), and up to -20 in the north. No precipitation is expected, but icy conditions may form on roads in some places.

On Tuesday, February 3, nighttime temperatures will be -20 to -25 degrees Celsius (-4 to -13 degrees Fahrenheit), and with clear skies, down to -26 to -31. Daytime temperatures will range from -14 to -19 degrees Celsius (7 to -2 degrees Fahrenheit). Forecasters do not predict snow, but icy conditions will persist.

The service «Weather NGS55.RU» also forecasts a gradual cooling. According to its data, today«s daytime high will be up to -7 degrees Celsius (19 degrees Fahrenheit), Monday up to -17 degrees Celsius (1 degree Fahrenheit), and Tuesday up to -20 degrees Celsius (-4 degrees Fahrenheit).
