In Slavgorod, a fire broke out in a parcel pickup point on the first floor of a five-story building. Seven people self-evacuated from the building. The fire damaged furniture and office equipment.
In the village of Pospelikha, a fire claimed the lives of two men. The flames erupted in a private house, preliminarily due to a violation of safety rules when using household electrical appliances. The emergency area was about eight square meters.
Additionally, rescuers promptly helped people in distress on the roads. EMERCOM employees evacuated a truck driver whose vehicle broke down on highway K-16 while he was delivering bread to Rodino.
In the Kulundinsky District, a private minibus lost control and veered into a ditch. At the time, there were 10 people in the vehicle—all citizens of Mongolia. The people were not injured, but in the conditions of severe frost, they needed urgent assistance. Rescuers arrived at the scene and helped get the vehicle back on the road.
Recall that until January 22, a state of heightened readiness is in effect in Altai Krai. Specialists are urging residents of Altai Krai to exercise maximum caution and attention to safety issues.
