February Weather Forecast: Severe Frost or Early Spring

February in Kuzbass will have changeable weather — from a sharp cold snap to -2°C (28°F) on the thermometer. However, abnormally low temperatures, as observed in the region in January, are not forecasted yet, said the editorial office of NGS42.RU on Monday, February 2, at the Kemerovo Hydrometeorological Center.

In the last winter month, forecasters do not expect early warming, heavy precipitation, or severe frosts. February, according to forecasts, will pass within climatic norms.

As in previous years, sharp temperature fluctuations will be observed. Moreover, the weather outside will change in just two to three days — from warm and windy to freezing cold and calm.

The thermometer column will sharply rise and fall throughout the month. Consistently warm weather will set in only with the arrival of calendar spring.

In the coming days, residents of the region can expect pleasant winter weather. During the day, it will be from -13°C (9°F) to -18°C (0°F).
