From February 4 to 6, abnormally cold weather with average daily temperatures 7–12°C (13–22°F) below the climatic norm will persist in the Ryazan region, the regional branch of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) warned.
The agency urged residents to limit time spent outdoors as much as possible and to call 112 if necessary.
Earlier, we reported that abnormal frosts continue in the Ryazan region. According to the regional Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (TsGMS), on Wednesday thermometers will drop to -30°C (-22°F). Throughout February 4, temperatures may range from -20°C (-4°F) to -25°C (-13°F).
It will feel colder outside due to the westerly wind, with gusts reaching seven meters per second (about 16 mph).
We also asked a cosmetologist how to minimize skin stress during severe frost, what procedures can be done at a cosmetologist on such days, and how to care for skin at home.
