Three days of anomalous frosts are forecast in Yaroslavl Region. An emergency warning was issued by the Ministry of Regional Security on the morning of February 3.

«Abnormally cold weather with average daily air temperatures 7–12 degrees below the climatic norm will persist in Yaroslavl Region from February 4 to February 6, 2026,» according to the Ministry«s statement.

Drivers have been urged to stock up on fuel, drinking water, and warm clothing if planning intercity travel.

The emergency services number is 112.

However, according to daily forecasts, temperatures during these days will not drop below −21 °C (−6°F).

According to the service «Weather 76.RU», on the night of February 4, it will cool to −21 °C (−6°F), cloudy, with no precipitation. During the day, −15 °C (5°F), with no snowfall expected.

On the night of February 5, −17 °C (1°F), variable cloudiness, with no precipitation. During the day, −15 °C (5°F), with no snowfall.

On the night of February 6, −18 °C (0°F), with no precipitation. During the day, −15 °C (5°F), snowfall is again not expected.
