A blizzard is forecast to bring strong winds and heavy snow to Yaroslavl Region.

In Yaroslavl Region, the weather will sharply worsen on the afternoon of February 1. Authorities have published an emergency warning for residents of the region.
The message states: «Strengthening of the north-easterly wind with gusts of 12–17 m/s, snow, blizzard, deterioration of visibility in precipitation to 300–800 m, on roads in some places ice, snow accumulation are expected in some areas of Yaroslavl Region.»
Residents of Yaroslavl are recommended to check the draft in smoke and ventilation channels when using gas due to strong winds.
