Blizzard Approaching: Emergency Warning Declared in Ryazan Oblast

The Ryazan region will be hit by a blizzard and heavy snow. Conditions will be exacerbated by wind gusts of up to 17 meters per second.

Snow drifts and icy roads are possible on the highways.

The bad weather will persist in Ryazan Oblast until the end of the day on January 31.

Pedestrians are urged to wear reflective elements on their clothing and walk carefully on the streets. If possible, avoid unstable structures, billboards, trees, and do not stand under roofs for long periods.
