Altai Krai Weather: Temperatures to Swing from -25°C (-13°F) to -2°C (28°F)
In the coming days, Altai Krai is once again expected to experience temperature swings. On February 3, temperatures in some areas are forecast to drop to -3°C (27°F), according to the regional Hydrometeorological Center.
Specifically, on the night of February 3, thermometers will read between -13°C (9°F) and -18°C (0°F), but in some places, the temperature could plummet to -24°C (-11°F). A north-easterly wind of 2 to 7 meters per second is expected. During the day, the air temperature will be -10°C (14°F) to -15°C (5°F), and in some spots, -2°C (28°F) to -7°C (19°F).
On the night of February 4, frost will return to Altai Krai, with temperatures immediately falling to -20°C (-4°F)…-25°C (-13°F). During the day, forecasters promise -11°C (12°F) to -16°C (3°F) across the region, with some warming to -5°C (23°F)…-10°C (14°F) in the south, and mostly without precipitation.
