Residents of Yugra (the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug in Russia) have been warned about upcoming abnormal frosts. Air temperatures at the beginning of February will be below normal. This forecast was given by Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.

Earlier we wrote about what the weather will be like in Yugra in February. The last month of calendar winter will begin with abnormal frosts, which will be replaced by warmer weather and heavy snowfalls by mid-month. This conclusion can be drawn based on forecasts made by various online services.

According to the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, in most areas of Yugra, the average monthly temperature in February will be within the climatic norm. However, in the east of the district, a deviation of 1 °C (1.8°F) below normal is possible. Precipitation levels in the district are also expected to be within the norm.
