Yekaterinburg Station VIP Lounge Updated with 1 Ruble Access

In the business lounge of Yekaterinburg station, a new space with an additional comfortable area has been arranged, where passengers can rest or work while waiting for their train.

«The new block on the »mezzanine« floor is equipped with individual modules with work desks and soft armchairs. This is convenient for visitors who need privacy and the opportunity to focus in a secluded setting,» said the Sverdlovsk Railway.

It is noted that the business lounge is popular among passengers: since its opening in October 2025, about five thousand people have used its services.

The premises, with an area of over 560 square meters, is divided into several thematic zones. In the relaxation zone, comfortable soft furniture and wide-screen TVs are installed, and spotlights emit soft light.

For business meetings, a conference room is provided; for children — a separate play area. For the convenience of visitors, the hall has a room for hand luggage storage, a cloakroom, and sanitary facilities with a shower. Meals are organized on a buffet system: in addition to traditional hot dishes, snacks, desserts, and drinks, dishes from Ural cuisine are offered.

The business lounge operates around the clock, without breaks or days off. It can accommodate more than 70 people at the same time. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War (World War II) and two of their companions can use the hall«s services for a symbolic fee — 1 ruble (approximately $0.01 at current rates).
