Yekaterinburg Moves Students to Remote Learning for Math Exam Practice

Information about the temporary switch to distance learning appeared in the public pages of educational institutions in Yekaterinburg. The event is related to the holding of a regional rehearsal for the Unified State Exam in mathematics.
In a published message from one of the city«s gymnasiums, it is stated: »Due to this, students in grades 1–10 are temporarily studying using distance educational technologies.«
The city«s education department confirmed this information. Children will be switched to distance format in all schools where EGE practice is scheduled, but the exact number of such institutions is not specified.
Previously, distance learning mode was introduced in Yekaterinburg schools for other reasons:
- due to severe frosts when the temperature dropped below -30 degrees Celsius (-22°F);
