Yaroslavl's Oktyabrsky Bridge: Joints Deteriorating, Repairs Ordered

The deteriorating deformation joints on Yaroslavl«s Oktyabrsky Bridge need prompt repairs.
Authorities reported the deterioration of deformation joints on Oktyabrsky Bridge. Director of the Agency for Municipal Procurement of Housing and Communal Services of Yaroslavl (Agentsvo po Munitsipalnomu Zakazu ZhKKh Yaroslavlya), Stanislav Trubachev, highlighted this at a citywide meeting at the city hall on 21 July. The damage was recorded during an inspection of roads repaired in 2023–2025 that are still under warranty. On Oktyabrsky Bridge, the work was carried out by the organization Yardormost.
«On Oktyabrsky Bridge, it is even visually visible that the deformation joints are deteriorating. Since the contractor did not fulfill its obligations, fines have already been issued. Within a month, «Yardormost» promises to finally replace the deformation joints. If they do not carry out the work, we will involve a third-party organization and recover from «Yardormost» the losses the city will incur,» Trubachev commented.
He also noted that Yardormost needs to fix defects on Gagarin Street and the Surinsky overpass, where sinkholes have formed.
Yardormost JSC is a Yaroslavl contractor established by the regional Ministry of Property Relations. The company was registered in the village of Kuznechikha, Yaroslavl district, on 26 December 2018. Acting General Director is Gleb Maslentsev, who previously headed the Agency for Municipal Procurement of Housing and Communal Services of Yaroslavl. The enterprise«s revenue for 2025 amounted to 4.7 billion rubles (about $52,222,200 at current rates), net profit — 2.9 million rubles (about $32,200 at current rates).
In addition, the authorities have complaints against the companies DSK 76 and Volga-Avtodor. The first company did not fix cracks on Radishchev and Shchapov streets it had repaired, the second — in Dyadkovsky passage, where the road markings wore off and a pothole appeared at the site of an asphalt sample.
According to the Kontur.Focus service, DSK 76 LLC is a Yaroslavl road construction company. The founder is Alexander Glebov. In 2024, the company received a contract for 30 million rubles (about $333,300 at current rates) for the maintenance of part of the streets in Yaroslavl; in 2023, it carried out repairs worth about 280 million rubles (about $3,111,100 at current rates). The organization«s revenue for 2025 amounted to 117.9 million rubles (about $1,310,000 at current rates), net profit — 2 million rubles (about $22,200 at current rates). Volga-Avtodor LLC is a construction company from Yaroslavl. The owner is Zorik Babyan. Revenue for 2025 — 462.6 million rubles (about $5,140,000 at current rates), net profit — 30.2 million rubles (about $335,600 at current rates). In 2025, the company carried out maintenance of several streets in Yaroslavl, receiving 9.3 million rubles (about $103,300 at current rates), as well as repair of courtyards and access roads for a total of almost 200 million rubles (about $2,222,200 at current rates). In 2024, it performed road repairs, including Dyadkovsky passage, for a total of 179.6 million rubles (about $1,995,600 at current rates).
Overall, according to Stanislav Trubachev, of the 130 sections inspected in spring 2026, violations were identified on 64. Currently, comments have been resolved at 58 facilities.
Mayor Artyom Molchanov gave an order that after a month, after 21 August, if contractors do not eliminate the violations themselves, to do so by engaging third-party companies, and to recover fines and compensation for the repairs from the negligent road workers.
Recall that Yardormost repaired Oktyabrsky Bridge in 2022. The cost of reconstruction amounted to 176.2 million rubles (about $1,957,800 at current rates), funds were provided from the regional budget. However, in 2024, information emerged that the deformation joints on the bridge again require repair.
