Yaroslavl Electric Buses Run Less Due to Cold
Yaroslavl city officials attributed complaints about infrequent electric bus service to technical malfunctions caused by low temperatures.

Residents of Yaroslavl have noticed that electric buses are running significantly less often on routes. Local resident Ekaterina brought attention to the issue by sending a message on February 3 to the Telegram channel of Governor Mikhail Yevrayev.
In her appeal she wrote: “I ask you to pay attention to the operation of Route 60, which runs with gaps in the schedule. Often it is not there at the appointed time and there is no way to track it online.”
The Yaroslavl Mayor«s Office provided an official comment on this matter.
The city administration explained: “Due to abnormally low temperatures, electric buses are absent because of technical malfunctions. Since all electric buses are under warranty, the waiting time for repairs increases due to the coordination of warranty claims between the enterprise and the manufacturer for subsequent repair.”
Currently, repair work is being carried out by the service department of the manufacturer.
