Yakutia fuel prices rise more than 10% in 2025

Fuel prices in Yakutia increased by over 10% in 2025 compared to 2024. Gas saw the highest rise, with its cost increasing by 15.12%. This was reported on the website of the republic«s statistics service, Rosstat.
Diesel became more expensive by 11.57%. Gasoline overall rose by 9.95% over the year: AI-92 increased by 10.39%, AI-95 by 10.87%, and AI-98 by 9.52%.
In December 2025, fuel prices were 7.67% higher than in December 2024. And if comparing the entire period from January to December, the increase was 10.47%.
Average prices in the republic for December 2025 are as follows: gas — 32 rubles (approximately $0.32 at current rates), diesel — 93.75 rubles (about $0.94 at current rates), gasoline AI-92 — 75.87 rubles (around $0.76 at current rates), AI-95 — 78.76 rubles (roughly $0.79 at current rates), and AI-98 — 85.82 rubles (close to $0.86 at current rates).
