Where in Voronezh the most dangerous roads are — map of accident-prone sections

The intersection of three streets in Voronezh led the list for the highest number of injury accidents.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Voronezh Region, in a report by Voronezh1.ru, has named the sections where accidents with injuries most often occurred in 2025. Eight sections made it onto this anti-rating, accounting for almost 20% of all such incidents in the city.

A map highlights the eight most dangerous road sections in the city of Voronezh.
Statistics have confirmed the notorious reputation of the intersection of Plekhanovskaya, Donbasskaya, and Sredne-Moskovskaya streets. Over the year, 9 accidents occurred here, injuring 10 people. The accidents vary in nature: from car collisions to pedestrian accidents. Earlier, long-term observations had already recognized this intersection as one of the most accident-prone in the country.
The list of the most problematic spots includes:
Intersection of Plekhanovskaya, Donbasskaya, and Sredne-Moskovskaya streets (9 accidents, 10 injured);
Antonova-Ovseenko Street, near building 35 (3 accidents, 5 injured);
Intersection of Plekhanovskaya and Koltsovskaya streets (4 accidents, 5 injured);
Friedrich Engels Street, near building 72 (3 accidents, 4 injured);
Stepan Razin Street, near buildings 47 and 38/1 (4 accidents, 4 injured);
9 January Street, near buildings 127, 131, 150, 156 (5 accidents, 7 injured);
Leninsky Prospekt, near building 102 (5 accidents, 6 injured);
Plekhanovskaya Street, near building 14 (5 accidents, 5 injured).
At the same time, the traffic police gave an example of how such a dangerous spot can be effectively eliminated. On Shishkova Street near building 70, at the beginning of 2025, three pedestrian accidents occurred in a month, injuring five people. After the rapid installation of a traffic light at this unregulated crossing, not a single accident with injuries was recorded until the end of the year.
In total, 1,153 accidents with injuries were registered in Voronezh in 2025. Despite a decrease in the number of fatalities, the number of injured increased by more than 22%, reaching 1,444 people.
