Gasoline prices in Volgograd continue to rise and are approaching the psychological barrier of 100 rubles per liter. If the current trend persists, this threshold will be crossed in the near future.

At some gas stations, the cost is already close to this level. For example, at Lukoil gas stations, the price per liter of A-100 reached 92.54 rubles (approximately $1 at current rates) as early as December 31 and has not changed since. Meanwhile, at Gazprom Neft stations, price increases started with the New Year, and over the past two weeks, prices have risen by an additional 40 kopecks for each grade.

Current prices at Gazprom gas stations are:

  • A-92 — 61.2 rubles (approximately $1 at current rates);
  • A-95 — 68.2 rubles (approximately $1 at current rates);
  • A-100 — 87.6 rubles (approximately $1 at current rates);
  • Diesel fuel — 73.8 rubles (approximately $1 at current rates).

At Rosneft gas stations, prices have remained unchanged after the post-New Year increase, as at Lukoil stations.

Experts see no prerequisites for a reduction in fuel costs in 2026.
