Ufa Expands Paid Parking Zone — New Streets Added

The Ufa City Hall has discussed expanding the paid parking zone. As a reminder, during the first phase of the project, its coordinators warned that they would not limit themselves to just the city center. The list of streets previously designated by the payment system will be expanded with new ones.

The expanded zone will cover Gogol, Karl Marx, Teatralnaya, Krupskaya, Tsuryupa, Zaki Validi, Sverdlov, Revolyutsionnaya, Ivan Yakutov, and Krasnodon. At the meeting in the city hall, it was noted that this will create an additional 3,394 parking spaces. Previously included in the list were:
- Dostoevsky Street — from Lenin to Tsuryupa;
- Karl Marx Street — from Zaki Validi to Dostoevsky;
- Kirov Street — from Mustai Karim to Tsuryupa;
- Kommunisticheskaya Street — from Aksakov to Dorofeev;
- Lenin Street — from Pushkin to Revolyutsionnaya;
- Mustai Karim Street — from Kommunisticheskaya to Dostoevsky;
- Oktyabrskoy Revolyutsii Street — from Lenin to Tsuryupa;
- Pushkin Street — from Aksakov to Novomostovaya;
- Chernyshevsky Street — from Gogol to Tsuryupa.
Officials assured that the decision has already been made; it just needs to be coordinated with law enforcement. According to the city hall, since the start of the project, 114,000 users have registered in the paid parking system. Violators, as a reminder, face a fine — more than 4,000 such fines have been issued, as reported at the city hall meeting.
