Trucks Stuck Overnight on Ryazan Oblast Exit Road
A local reader reports that the highways in Ryazan Oblast are poorly cleared, leading to traffic issues.
On Saturday afternoon, January 31, the road from Putyatino to Shatsk came to a standstill in a traffic jam. This was reported by a reader of YA62.RU. According to him, the highway was not cleared very well, and because of this, trucks have stopped.
Online maps show extensive traffic jams, advising drivers to plan their journeys ahead of time.
«Look for detours; you»ll be stuck there until morning... Due to uncleared roads, trucks can«t move, with a traffic jam stretching 40 kilometers with occasional breaks,» the reader recounts.
The congestion extends towards Sasovo, with trucks unable to move due to snow-covered roads.
According to online maps, the traffic jam starts at the exit from the village of Yekaterinovka and ends only near Karabukhino — that«s about 20 kilometers. Further on, there is a section with free movement, but closer to Shatsk it becomes difficult again.
A traffic jam is observed on the section from Shatsk to the village of Kusachyovo — another approximately 23 kilometers.
An emergency warning remains in effect in Ryazan Oblast due to a blizzard, snowdrifts, and ice. According to forecasters, the bad weather will not stop until the end of the day on January 31.
