Tram Service on Victory Avenue to Resume Early
Tram service on Victory Avenue will resume earlier than scheduled, with the regional transport ministry announcing that track work has been completed ahead of time. Service is set to begin on Sunday, January 25 at 2:30 p.m.

Tram service on Victory Avenue will open earlier than planned. This was announced on Saturday, January 24, by the regional Ministry of Transport.

“Work to connect temporary tram tracks to the existing network has been completed ahead of schedule. The overhead line is connected. Today, snowplows are operating on the line,” the ministry reported.
Service is promised to launch in the Northwest at 14:30 on Sunday, January 25.
As a reminder, tram service was initially closed for 10 days, until the evening of January 26, due to track reconstruction at the site of the metrotram construction. During this time, buses were running on Victory Avenue.
