Tram Route No. 13 in Novosibirsk Fully Updated with New Cars
The popular route now operates entirely with modern low-floor vehicles.
In Novosibirsk, the rolling stock on tram route No. 13 has been completely updated. This was announced by the city mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev.
According to him, the route is now 100% equipped with black-and-red T-701 model cars.
«Route No. 13, «Gusinobrodskoye Highway — Pisateva Street,» is the most in-demand tram route in Novosibirsk. That«s exactly why it was chosen first for the introduction of modern models: low floor, more doors, and comfort for passengers, including those with limited mobility,» he said.
It was clarified that the renewal of the tram fleet is happening gradually. T-701 model cars will continue to arrive in the city. They will also be directed to other routes, including those on the left bank.
It was previously reported that 195.5 million passengers in 2025 used the municipal public transport of Novosibirsk.
