A tram hit a pedestrian near Universitet metro station in southwestern Moscow. This was reported by a reader of MSK1.RU. Moscow«s Department of Transport mentioned that there are delays in tram traffic on this section.

In the submitted video, a tram is stationary, with police and ambulance vehicles nearby.

“Before this, the tram sped past previous stops without stopping. It had its lights on and the display with the tram number was lit. There were no signs that boarding was not allowed,” writes the MSK1.RU reader in a Telegram bot.

The capital«s transport department reported that tram routes have been temporarily altered, urging passengers to be attentive and listen to driver announcements.

“On Lomonosovsky Prospect (near the «Metro Universitet» stop), trams No. T1, 14, 26, and 39 are delayed,” it was noted in the transport department«s channel.

MSK1.RU attempted to clarify with the Moscow Metro the current details of the accident and the condition of the hit person, but so far the editorial office has not received a response. The news is being updated.
