Trains to Ryazan Delayed After Tambov Derailment

Trains traveling through Ryazan are delayed due to the derailment of trains carrying gasoline. The gasoline caught fire on the afternoon of February 4 at Kochetovka-2 station; preliminary reports indicate no injuries. Firefighters are working at the scene.
Due to the emergency in the neighboring Tambov Oblast, the following trains through Ryazan are delayed:
  • Train No. 3 «Kislovodsk–Moscow»;
  • Train No. 27 «Simferopol–Moscow»;
  • Train No. 35 «Adler–St. Petersburg»;
  • Train No. 37 «Imeretinsky Resort–Nizhny Novgorod»;
  • Train No. 101 «Adler–Moscow»;
  • Train No. 139 «Kislovodsk–Arkhangelsk»;
  • Train No. 266 «Moscow–Novorossiysk»;
  • Train No. 739 «Voronezh–Moscow».
It is unknown when trains will resume their regular schedule.
Russian Railways (RZD) has established an operational headquarters to handle the aftermath of the incident.
