Last year, 5,000 items forgotten by passengers ended up in the lost and found office at the Samara railway station.

«836 items were returned upon request. Unusual finds include a jug shaped like Aladdin»s lamp, an antique samovar, and paintings,« said Vyacheslav Dmitriev, head of the Kuibyshev Railway (KbZhD).

And what about others? Last year, more than 2,000 forgotten items were received at the lost and found office at the Ufa railway station. 538 items were returned upon request. Unusual finds include a flag of the Republic and an electric meat grinder.
