Three flights diverted due to restrictions at Sochi airport

Repeat flight restrictions at Sochi airport, introduced on Wednesday evening, led to disruptions at the air hub. During the restrictions, which lasted more than two hours, the crews of three flights made the decision to divert to the alternate airport in Mineralnye Vody. Among them were flights DP-324, SU-1140, and N4-438.

According to the online board, dozens of flights were shifted in the schedule. The situation was complicated by the fact that the airport«s operations had already been suspended for almost 6 hours on the night of January 21, and airlines did not have time to fully restore the schedule before the new restrictions were introduced.
